I totally got my money's worth at Casa Da Amendoeira! The room was incredibly clean and cozy, with a unique touch of having a sound system to play fado songs. The location was amazing, right next to the castle, making me feel like I traveled back in time. The staff was extra hospitable and friendly, even though we couldn't communicate in the same language. They made me feel at home and provided excellent service.

The hotel breakfast menu could be improved by offering freshly brewed coffee instead of instant coffee.

The closest thing to staying at someone's home! the small launch only has four bedrooms which helps create a very intimate feel. the friendliness of the host enhanced the experience. the breakfast was particularly nice with a selection of local cheeses and even one that is produced at the lodge itself!
